We are pleased to share that W4 Games has entered into a strategic partnership with eSOL Co., Ltd. to support the use of the Godot Engine in industrial and enterprise environments.

As part of this collaboration, eSOL is developing eXRP (eSOL XrossReality Platform), a real-time 3D engine for industry based on Godot. eXRP is planned for release in Q2 2026 as an enterprise version of Godot, targeting use cases such as digital twins, real-time simulation, and advanced HMI and UI systems across multiple industrial domains.

This partnership reflects a growing trend where game engine technology is being adopted beyond entertainment, playing a central role in Software Defined Everything (SDx), industrial DX, and cyber-physical systems. Godot’s open-source foundation, cross-platform capabilities, and suitability for embedded systems make it a strong fit for these applications.

W4 Games will support eSOL’s efforts by providing enterprise-grade products, services, and long-term expertise around Godot, helping bring the engine into new industrial contexts while continuing to strengthen the broader open-source ecosystem.

You can read the full announcement and technical context on eSOL’s blog here.
